Axel Haze drops by his friend Jimmy's house, because they're supposed to meet to go surfing. He is greeted by the voice of Jimmy's parent, Sophia Locke, who calls out from another room that Jimmy already went out to do something else. Axel is dismayed that Jimmy ditched him, so Sophia steps into the room to apologize for Jimmy's behavior.
