In this chapter, Jessica goes for an evening out with Mr. Parker and his ex-cop friend, Jack, with whom she hopes to establish a working relationship. A few hours of drinking, naughty joking, and shameless flirting eventually lead to a raunchy confession from Mr. Parker about his past, and prompt the horny reporter to engage in some dirty action with the old man inside the relative safety of his car.
